When Darya reached out to plan a portrait session during her family’s getaway to Martha's Vineyard, I was immediately drawn to her vision. Knowing the timeless charm of Edgartown, I suggested using the iconic Edgartown Lighthouse as our backdrop. By a wonderful coincidence, during our session, Darya shared that her daughters were obsessed with Sophie Blackall’s picture book, Hello Lighthouse. Seeing the girls’ eyes light up as they saw the historic structure in real life made the location feel completely meant to be.
